Some Orthodox Christians in
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia are in a tizzy. Coca Cola's beverage coolers are making their tempers hot. The lighted vending machine type coolers depict iconic cultural images cut out in the shape of Coca Cola bottles. Around 400 Russian Orthodox letter writers insist that they be changed. They say the inclusion of famous Orthodox churches used in the images is blasphemous. One with an inverted bottle is particularly offensive to them because it reminds some of the upside down cross used by Satanists. Breitbart has
a video discussing the issue that includes interviews with people on the street that share this view.
