The best political rhetoric we've heard for a spell was the oratorical dressing down given to Barack Obama and his Obamamaniacs the other night in Youngstown, Ohio. Speaking at a Hillary Clinton stump appearance, Thomas Buffenbarger, President of the Machinists Union said:
The Barack show is playing to rave reviews sold out at college campus after college campus. Standing room only crowds to hear his silver-tounged orations. Hope, change, yes we can? Give me a break! I’ve got news for all the latte-drinking, Prius-driving, Birkenstock-wearing, trust fund babies crowding in to hear him speak. This guy won’t last a round against the Republican attack machine. He’s a poet, not a fighter.
Reminds us of Grandma, another Ohio Democrat, saying someone was a
low-down, good-for-nothing, no-account snake-in-the-grass. Ah the beauty of meter in speech, and Pres. Buffenbarger calls
Barack Obama a poet. Take
that you
latte-drinking, Prius-driving, Birkenstock-wearing, trust fund babies!
