KOMO TV News is reporting that FBI and local law enforcement are investigating a massive series of 3 arsons at new constructions in Maltby, Washington. Evidence has been recovered bearing the letters ELF an acronym for Earth Liberation Front. Members of ELF, the domestic terror organization responsible for other US arsons, were responsible for the Horticulture building arson at the University of Washington several years ago. An ELF member is currently on trial in Tacoma for participating in that arson.

Ironically, one of the homes, certified as a "green" construction, had won a national green construction award. They were part of a 2007 Street of Dreams project. All were for sale, and none were yet occupied.
