Meanwhile, Sen. Obama's pastor the Rev. Wright, has caused a bit of IRS hot light to shine on his Chicago Trinity Avenue UCC Church because he reportedly used it's pulpit for a pro-Obama stump speech on 19 January. (He described the charismatic candidate in Christ-like terms). The greater United Church of Christ is also receiving IRS scrutiny because of Sen. Obama's address at last year's convention when he brought along campaign materials and 40 volunteers to distribute them.
